Skip Shaving or Waxing

No Steam or High Heat

Avoid steam rooms, saunas, and hot showers for at least 48 hours after body treatments to keep skin calm and prevent irritation.

Stay Hydrated & Wear Loose Clothing

Drink plenty of water and wear loose, breathable clothing over treated areas for 24–48 hours to avoid friction and promote healing.

Schedule Regular Treatments

For optimal body skin health, most treatments are recommended every 4 to 6 weeks. For corrective courses (microneedling, laser), your esthetician will outline a customized schedule.

Many of our body treatments pair excellently with each other and with facial treatments. Common combinations include pairing back facials with chemical peels, or combining Slimwave sculpting sessions with laser hair removal packages. Your esthetician will build a customized combination protocol tailored to your timeline and goals during your free consultation.

Some body treatments are safe during pregnancy while others are not recommended. Gentle body facials and certain hydrating treatments may be appropriate, but chemical peels, laser treatments, and microneedling are generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Always disclose your pregnancy to your esthetician during the consultation so we can recommend safe alternatives tailored to your stage and skin goals.
