Scalp micropigmentation
Scalp Micropigmentation is a Non-surgical hair replacement treatment in Montreal and Laval
Scalp micro pigmentation in our Montreal and Laval clinic is a hair loss procedure that uses a specialized dermograph and organic pigment to inject hair follicle impressions in the dermis layer of the skin, similar to permanent makeup or tattoos. Over a couple of sessions, these hair follicle replications remove the appearance of thinning hair and cover up bald spots, resulting in natural-looking hair growth.
What is Scalp Micropigmentation?
Scalp micro pigmentation is a non-surgical, pain-free and risk-free solution to hair loss and thinning. It is a safer alternative to traditional hair replacement procedures such as hair transplants and grafts. Using a state-of-the-art dermograph machine and specialized pigment, we can inject thousands of small hair follicle impressions into the affected area, achieving the look of natural hair growth. The process of micro-pigmentation eliminates the look of baldness or thinning hair by matching the natural hair colour of the scalp, beard, moustache and even on areas of the body.

At New Age Spa in Montreal and Laval, scalp micropigmentation treatments cost 600$ per visit. You may need between two to three sessions for optimal results, or maybe more. Pricing may also change depending on treatments areas and hair loss level.
At first, you must undertake the recommended amount of sessions at a 7-day interval between each session. Then, once your final results are achieved, you should return for a touch-up every 3-5 years for a fraction of the cost, as desired.
We ask that you come to your hair replacement appointment with your preferred hairstyle and a washed scalp. If you are almost completely bald, you must shave your hair using a trimmer (under 1 cm long). If you only have thin spots, come with your expected look in the future to match your style while reducing the appearance of hair loss.
After your treatment, you should avoid heavy sweating and shampooing your hair. You can rinse with water only for three days and then return to your normal activities. Although there is no risk of infection, avoid touching your scalp. You should avoid exercise for seven days as well. For more aftercare instructions, click here.
Common treatments with SMP
Hair transplant has gone wrong
Besides simulating a shaved head effect and adding hair density, this hair restoration method is used to complement hair transplant. By filling the spaces between hair grafts, we can create instant results and enhance your hair grafts without additional surgery.
Scars and hair defects
Skin pigmentation treatments also make it possible to hide the scars on the scalp and body. For example, men’s hair transplants may cause multiple scarring in the donor areas. The Scalp microtechnique will camouflage scars by replacing the hair in that area.
micropigmentation for Alopecia
Alopecia areata is a rare type of spot baldness that affects the entire scalp and not just some spots. The causes of alopecia disorders include stress, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, excessive consumption of drugs or iron deficiency.
Micropigmentation for Thinning hair
For hair that is thinning out, the same process of hair pigmentation is applied. In this case, the objective is to provide density and fullness to your thinning hair. Due to the hair falling, bald spots on the scalp begins to shine through. Scalp pigmentation provides a baldness cure by removing that contrast and reproduce the look of fullness.
