What does it feel like?

IPL or Laser facial treatments are not painful. Aided with a topical numbing cream, you will not feel a thing. Most clients report a feeling of tingling and heat on the treated area due to increased blood flow to the area. Aside from the needling part, the overall facial is refreshing and relaxing.

To improve the outcome of your IPL or photo facial by promoting a clean, healing environment. It would help if you came with freshly cleaned hair. And also, prep your home environment. For example, changing your pillowcases, bedsheets and face towels will avoid skin contamination and improve skin rejuvenation.

Aftercare

After your Photo skin rejuvenation, refrain from wearing makeup for 48 hours and avoid excessive sun exposure for the same amount of time. After this, make sure you wear sunscreen (SPF 30 and over) anytime you are exposed to the sun.

You must not be taking prescription drugs or antibiotics. You must not have the following or be prone to Keloid scars. Active eczema. Psoriasis and other chronic conditions. History of actinic or solar keratosis. History of herpes simplex infections. History of diabetes. Presence of raised moles in the area to be treated. Scleroderma, collagen or vascular diseases and cardiac abnormalities. Blood clotting conditions. Active bacterial or fungal infections. Immunosuppression. We do not Photo facials on women who are pregnant or nursing. 

Treatment Frequency

For best results, a series of three to five treatments are recommended. Treatments are done approximately three weeks apart. You may want a follow-up treatment once or twice a year to maintain young and healthy-looking results.
