Advanced esthetic training with professional skincare equipment at New Age Academy Montreal and Laval
Course Curriculum

What you'll learn in the Esthetician Diploma program.

The Esthetician Diploma builds on the foundational Skincare Certificate (Module 1) and adds a comprehensive range of advanced treatments, business skills, and hands-on clinical experience — preparing you for immediate, professional-level employment.

Advanced Facial Treatments

Build on foundational facial skills with advanced protocols — LED therapy, high-frequency treatments, galvanic current, and multi-step corrective facial programs for complex skin concerns.

Microdermabrasion

Train with professional microdermabrasion equipment — diamond-tip and crystal systems — to treat blemishes, acne, fine lines, and uneven skin texture. A highly in-demand treatment skill.

Exfoliation Peels

Introduction to chemical exfoliation protocols — alpha and beta acid peels — for treating hyperpigmentation, acne, and uneven texture. Learn safe application, contraindications, and post-care.

Waxing & Hair Removal

Comprehensive waxing training covering full-body soft wax and hard wax techniques — face, brow, lip, underarm, leg, bikini, and Brazilian. One of the most universally requested service skills.

Cosmetics & Makeup Application

Professional makeup application techniques including corrective, everyday, and special occasion looks. Expands your service offerings and revenue potential as a full-service esthetician.

Advanced Skin Analysis

Develop clinical-level skin assessment skills — using Wood's lamp, magnification tools, and structured intake protocols to identify skin type, condition, and the most effective treatment approach.

Body Treatments

Body wraps, scrubs, hydrotherapy, and targeted body contouring treatments — extending your expertise beyond the face and opening doors to full-service spa employment.

Client Communication & Sales

Master consultative selling, retail recommendation, and professional client relationship management — practical business skills that directly impact your income and client retention.

Spa Management & Design

Gain a foundational understanding of spa operations — scheduling, inventory management, treatment menu design, team dynamics, and client experience standards used in top-tier facilities.

Sanitation & Hygiene Protocols

All training meets strict medical-grade sterilization standards — the same protocols used in our professional clinic network. Health Canada and OSHA compliant procedures throughout.

Skincare Foundations (Module 1)

Includes all 200 hours of Skincare Certificate content — skin anatomy, extractions, facial massage, product knowledge, client consultation, and mask application — fully integrated into this diploma.

Career & Business Preparation

Resume writing, interview preparation, networking strategies, and entrepreneurial guidance — so you're ready to launch or advance your esthetics career from day one after graduation.
